ASU and Starbucks

The Starbucks College Achievement Plan, launched in 2014, is a first of its kind partnership between Arizona State University and Starbucks to expand access to a high-quality education. It creates an opportunity for employees to earn their first-time bachelor’s degree with 100% tuition coverage, choosing from more than 100 undergraduate programs offered through ASU Online.

In November 2015, ASU and Starbucks expanded the innovative education partnership that allowed partners who are serving or have served in the U.S. military to designate an additional family member to receive the benefits of the Starbucks College Achievement Plan.

Partners enrolled in the program have access to a dedicated enrollment coach, success coach, academic adviser and team of financial aid counselors to support them through graduation. More than 18,000 Starbucks partners are currently participating in the Starbucks College Achievement Plan and more than 6,000 have graduated from ASU, toward the goal to graduate 25,000 partners by 2025.
