Elect Her is a grant training program for women interested in learning more about politics and running for student government, being sponsored by the American Association of University Women. The focus is to empower women-identified students, but anyone is welcome to attend. We will be meeting with past and present elected student officials, women in politics from around the state and people who have managed campaigns. Lunch provided. “What it’s like to be a Sex Researcher” with Dr. Pepper Schwartz 7 p.m., Arntzen Hall 100 Free Dr. Schwartz’s presentation will cover what really happens when sex and relationships are researched, how she’s played a role in current events and what she tells strangers when they ask what she does for a living.
