Martin & Trevor Grimm Junior Zachary Moujaes has cleared out his closet to only consist of pieces he likes to wear. Inspired by mermaids, goth princesses and street fashion, Moujaes expresses himself through his own unique style, which he describes as a post-Internet goth.
Sophomore Fatmah Ali’s style is based on modesty and balance. For example, if she wears earrings, she won’t wear a necklace. She encourages everyone to express themselves and be who they are.
Inspired by Pinterest, sophomore Melissa Lamb (left) compiles outfits that are both comfy and cute. Vans are her go-to shoe and she loves wearing jean jackets and American Apparel sweatshirts because they are comfortable and have bright colors. Freshman Abby Slavens (right) describes her style as urban with classic prep influences. Her outfit comes from J. Crew and a vintage boot shop. One of her signature pieces is a leather jacket.
Junior Brooks Donohue says it’s easy to be trendy, but trends come and go. Instead, his wardrobe is made up of basics that will last ten years. He owns a collection of sweaters, loves Oxford shirts and really values the way clothes will fit.
Junior Nick Bintorio doesn’t buy clothes often but wears a combination of thrift store clothes and hand-me-downs. Bintorio wears a rain hat he got from a music festival and around his neck, he has a Buddha necklace from China that he got for his birthday.
