Free Mallard’s ice cream, socializing and games. This is our big event to kick off the year. Meet the LGBT Alliance employees.

Western is in the process of bidding a 10-year contract to provide dining services to the campus community beginning fall 2011. These open forums are intended to help inform the Dining Contract Committee about campus perceptions and expectations for future dining services. It is also an opportunity for us to answer questions. World Issues Forum: Why Peace is Possible Noon-1:20 p.m., Fairhaven Auditorium Free Speaker Captain Paul K. Chappell, a 2002 West Point graduate, served in the army for seven years. He was deployed to Baghdad and left active duty in 2009. In this talk, he explains how he learned at West Point and in the military that peace is possible and how we can achieve it. He will address the meaning of waging peace and its requirement for our survival in the 21st century.
