Take a culinary tour you won’t soon forget at Atalanta’s annual Summer Fancy Food Show booth. Our specialty cheese and deli display goes completely around the perimeter of our booth with a separate meeting area for scheduled time with an Atalanta representative and a personal product tasting. Atalanta’s booth includes olives and specialty bar items as well as top trend categories such as Spanish Specialty, Cheese and Deli Meat Loaves as well as Charcuterie. ATALANTA CORPORATE CHEF DAMIAN TORYAK has joined the Atalanta Team as Culinary Development Manager. After spending 2 years in the U.S. Army as a helicopter crew chief, Damian found a new direction in the culinary arts. While training at The Philadelphia Restaurant School, he was able to express his skills at The Victor Café. There he had the opportunity to cook for greats such as Tony Bennett and Julia Child. He went on to continue his learning at Le Grande Monarque, a top rated hotel/restaurant in Chartres, France. After returning to the U.S., he worked at various high end restaurants, such as The Double Tree Hotel and Forsgate Country Club before settling down with Sodexo. During his 15 years with Sodexo, he worked at accounts such as Toys “R” Us, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, L’Oreal and Nestle Nutrition.

CHEF MASSIMO BOTTURA is more than a good friend of the Atalanta / De Medici family. On June 13th, Osteria Francescana was named the number one restaurant at The World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards in New York City. Osteria Francescana, located in Modena, Italy, is the first ever Italian restaurant to have achieved this standing. Chef Massimo is the driving force behind the creation of the unique Villa Manodori product line of oils and vinegars. Bottura, long recognized as one of the world’s greatest chefs, said in receiving the award, “I have to thank my wife, family and my team who are watching in the restaurant. I want to thank everyone. It’s been so hard, but our job is all about hard work. I think the most important ingredient for the future is culture, because culture brings knowledge and knowledge brings consciousness. I feel like I will cry”.
