The Toschi story

In 1945, two brothers named Toschi were working in a small workshop in Vignola, Italy on the outskirts of Modena. They found themselves with an overabundant cherry harvest but not wanting to discard any of the famous black Amarena Cherries. In discovering a way to preserve them in sweet syrup they were able to enjoy them all year round. Through the years this has led to preserving other fruits including rich Italian oranges. Not just for pastry makers and ice cream bases, their candied fruits hold a unique versatility that is prized by mixologists and bars. Enjoy these rich cocktails and mocktails with a bit of Italian amore in the form of black Amarena Cherries and Candied Orange Peels in syrup. CHIN CHIN!

WHISKEY SOUR Shake and strain : 2 oz blended whiskey juice of 1/2 lemons 0.5 oz Amarena Cherry Syrup, lemon slice Amarena Cherry garnish

SINGAPORE SLING

Build: 4 fresh mint sprigs 2.5 oz bourbon whiskey 1 tsp powdered sugar 2 tsp water, mint lemon slice Amarena Cherry garnish

Shake and pour: 0.5 oz Amarena Cherry syrup 1 oz gin sweet and sour mix club soda 0.5 oz cherry brandy 3 dashes Creole bitters Amarena Cherry garnish

ITALIAN STALLION MARTINI

Shake and strain: 1 oz vodka 0.5 oz cream 0.5 oz strawberry liquor 0.5 oz simple syrup 2 drops anise liquor 1 tbsp Amarena Cherry Syrup

Shake and pour: 1.5 oz white rum 0.5 oz Amarena Cherry syrup club soda 4 mint leaves 4 Amarena Cherry garnish lime
