Technical notes Sizes Graffiti tiles are 23,62 x 23,62 x 0,98 inches (60 x 60 x 2,5 cm), with the exception of “ROSE” that is 31,5 x 31,5 x 0,98 inches (80 x 80 x 2,5 cm). Inlayed tiles or the ones in bas-relief are 23,62 x 23,62 x 0,79 inches (60 x 60 x 2 cm), with the exception of “ROSE” that is 31,5 x 31,5 x 0,79 inches (80 x 80 x 2 cm).
Curvature All tiles, except “KALEIDOS” and “WATER LILY”, can be curved. The maximum radium of “ROSE” is 10,03 inches (25,5 cm). All other tiles have 7,51 inches (19,1 cm) of maximum radius.
Backlight When used in Graffiti tiles, Bianco Estremoz is almost transparent and therefore it can be backlighted.
Graffiti tiles installation Procedure 1, glue tiles directly on surface. Use a bicomponent cementicious adhesive, highly deformable. Consider its resistance to vertical slide. Procedure 2, anchorage system with aluminium tracks. A particular self-locking screw has to be inserted in marble tile. After, the tracks have to be fixed directly on tiles by using the compass and also on the wall. In case of plasterboard walls, a metal structure should be useful to fix installation.
Filling Use straw coloured putty mixed with hardener and oxyd powder (that has to be as more similar as possible to the marble).
Ordinary maintenance For ordinary cleaning, we advise the use of diluted neutrum detergents. Sometime a small quantity of floor wax diluted with water. It is absolutely unadvisable the use of equipment with high water emission, solvent or acid products.
Rose, Picto, Fortune, Twirl, Fenice and Weave are drawn by Raffaello Galiotto. In “Graffiti” technique Rose, Picto and Fortune have been registered at Italian Design Association ”ADI RP 1634”. In “Graffiti” technique Twirl, Fenice and Weave have been registered at Italian Design Association ”ADI RP 1934”.
