Tuscan
cuisine is recognised as one of the world’s best – distinguished by its high quality of flavours derived from local, sustainably produced, ingredients – that can make even the simplest of dishes seem a ‘Classic’
Many ingredients used in the kitchens at Pieve a Castello are grown in its organic vegetable gardens, and almost all are sourced from a day’s walking distance
With greenhouse gas ‘consumption emissions’ rampant – is adopting sustainable cuisine a viable option ?
