EDINBURGH GIN O’CLOCK A must-see cabaret show starring burly baritone turned delicious diva Robert Hofmann, who is classically trained and now outrageously unchained. Hofmann takes adult audiences on a wild ride with his unique brand of unorthodox comedy. Award-winning Hofmann presents a whirlwind of characters clad in sequins and leather in an energetic blend of visual humour, spicy stand-up, poignant performances of operatic perfection and pleasurable pop. The Edinburgh Gin Distillery is a local wonderland for Gin Lovers, a bastion of distillation and historical research. We’ve ventured out from our den of delights to bring you the story behind Edinburgh’s unique alcohol and gin heritage, whilst lavishing you with some EG based beverages in the plush surroundings of The Boards. A FEATHERY CABARET RIOT - THE FLAMING GALAHS Now in its eighth year, Forth on the Fringe is the largest showcase event of Fringe entertainment. The galah is a bird found in large numbers across Australia. It is highly intelligent, sociable, playful and often quite ... loud. The Flaming Galahs are Krysia Mansfield on vocals, Lesley Anne Sammons on piano and Lucy Mulgan on double bass. They peck on percussion, sashay in sequins, they squawk and they coo! BBC radio’s multi award-winning antidote to panel games returns to the stage in 2015 for a one-off Edinburgh Festival performance of its highly acclaimed touring show. Join Barry Cryer, Graeme Garden, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Jeremy Hardy and host Jack Dee for an unmissable evening of inspired nonsense. Colin Sell provides piano accompaniment. For children and adults - a ballet with full symphony orchestra. WILD ZEBRA - a spectacular fantasy created by Zhang Jigang, co-producer and choreographer of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies - danced and played by 150 children from Zhonguancun No. 2 Primary School, Beijing, China. To obtain immortality, Black Bear Sorceress needs one more wild zebra skin to complete a cloak of 100 zebra hides. Zebra Girl must first rescue Wild Zebra from his dungeon and help him escape before facing the wrath of Black Bear Sorceress, her demonic aide Fire Fox, and the rest of her animal court. JIM DAVIDSON NO FURTHER ACTION
Very few comedians could turn the worst year of their life into a resounding success. Fresh from winning the most successful ever series of Celebrity Big Brother by a landslide, comedy king Jim Davidson has done exactly that. No Further Action will see Jim tell the story of his arrest and the nightmare 12 months that followed, the clearing of his name and winning the hearts of the nation all over again. It promises to be the most outrageous, hilarious and insightful show Jim has ever performed, but most of all it will be the truth. Starts 7.30pm (2hr30min)

BACKSTAGE PASS The Gilded Balloon has been bringing entertainment to Edinburgh for 30 years and we are celebrating with a Comedy Gala with performers from the venue’s past and present.
