WELCOME SPRING 2015 Before we see out 2014 with our New Year’s Eve Party, there’s plenty to look forward to over the festive season.

Join Suzanne Shaw and Russell Grant for this year’s festive family treat, Cinderella. Panto Parties are available for groups of 10+, so why not make your visit extra special?

We are delighted that the National Theatre are returning with their Olivier award-winning production, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Theatre Royal Brighton Productions are back with one of the greatest plays of the last century, Arcadia. Family favourite Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat takes to the stage in March and Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers is sure to captivate hearts in February. Be transported to the magical age of tap dancing and high society with a brand new production of the classic musical comedy, Anything Goes. The team that brought Dreamboats and Petticoats return with Dreamboats and Miniskirts and a mix of 60s Rock ‘n’ Roll hits. Look out for the unmissable Spamalot and puppets with a difference as we see our first ever production of Avenue Q. Due to popular demand Silver Wheels Roller Disco will see the auditorium transformed once more into a roller skating rink. There will be four different sessions throughout the day catering for groups, families and adults-only in the evening with live DJ sets and laser lights. The auditorium houses another flat floor event in the New Year with Big Band Dance Night and the Down For The Count Swing Orchestra.

Remember to see what’s in store in the theatre’s Second Space as it continues to host smaller-scale productions, our LiveScreen programme and our ever-popular Comedy Club. The Waterside’s Family Theatre Club Open House, provides free activities encouraging families to explore their creativity and the world of theatre within a friendly family environment. Look out for a programme of performances especially for children presented as part of Open House. As we enter our 5th year, contributions from our Building Fund mean we are able to maintain this magnificent venue and continue to make theatre magic.

Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot is a kind-of-new musical with a book by Eric Idle and an entirely new score for the new production (well, almost), created by Eric Idle and John du Prez.

The latest tour, which is directed by Christopher Luscombe, follows hot on the heels of the can’t–believe-how-successful-it-was Monty Python Reunion at The O2 and Eric Idle’s acclaimed performance of Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life at the 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony - the world sang along, and Spamalot audiences get the opportunity to do so too!

Joan Littlewood’s legendary musical has been revived to commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War One. Originally produced by Joan Littlewood at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, Oh What A Lovely War is a satirical masterpiece which was made into a classic film in 1969, starring amongst others Maggie Smith, John Gielgud and John Mills.

This highly acclaimed revival directed by the multi award-winning Terry Johnson is a riot of music and colour, deeply moving and features some of the greatest songs from the First World War. BOOKING FEES Bookings may be subject to a per-ticket fee and transaction charge. For most shows ATG Theatre Card members, Group bookings and sales in person at the Box Office are fee-free.
