WELCOME TO THE LEAS CLIFF HALL...

As we move into our autumn winter season of programming, we wanted to take a moment to reflect upon the fantastic season of live shows we have seen here this spring. From sell-out gigs by Paul Weller and The Shires, to the huge variety of new shows that we welcomed.

And there’s more to come!

Our community engagement has continued to grow and, this season, one of our highlights was welcoming over 400 school children to the venue to take part in a local dance competition. This summer sees us right at the heart of the Folkestone community, as we join forces with Kidz On Stage’s Bob Osborne to run a summer production of The Wizard of Oz… in just two weeks!

Behind the scenes, the Leas Cliff Hall relies on its fantastic team to make sure everything goes according to plan, whether that’s an opera or rock concert on stage in the impressive Grand Hall, or a celebratory dinner for up to 300 guests in the stunning Channel Suite.

You can hire our fabulous Channel Suite? Our functions team have hosted a wedding or event every weekend over the Spring. All food is prepared and cooked here on site by our Head Chef Adam and his superb team - they’re an absolute credit to the venue. Last year we welcomed almost 21,500 guests to the Suite for a variety of events including weddings, conferences, meetings and parties, during which we served nearly 11,000 glasses of wine and 7,000 glasses of fizz!

APPRENTICESHIPS Natalie Brown has worked as part of the Front of House Team under the Apprenticeship Scheme for the last 12 months. She first came to us on a Traineeship programme that required her to complete 120 voluntary hours of work with us to gain experience and knowledge of a work place. At the end of this we were delighted to offer her the opportunity to train, learn and grow in the business as an apprentice.

She has now completed her apprenticeship, gaining a level 2 NVQ in Customer Care. Natalie has become an integral part of our team, growing in confidence and ability and working across all our events. For more details of Apprenticeship opportunities, please get in touch.
