Sleeping Beauty is an enchanting mix of music, magic, adventure and pantomime fun with bags of audience participation. This year, for the first time, pantomime is brought to Grimsby by one of the country’s top pantomime producers, Imagine Theatre, with a script written by the BAFTA Award-winning writing team of Iain Lauchlan and Will Brenton. Princess Belle is cursed by the wicked fairy Carabosse so that on her 18th birthday she will prick her finger upon a spinning wheel and die. Azuriel, the good fairy (Grimsby’s very own Julie Peasgood), alters the spell that sends the princess into an enchanted sleep which will last for one hundred years. The only way she can be awoken is by a kiss from her one true love. Join Nurse Nanny Nora, Josh the Jester and the dashing Prince Valiant as they battle with dragons and time machines to ensure the Prince can wake the sleeping Princess on time! With spectacular sets and costumes, fabulous songs and dances and bags of slapstick fun, Sleeping Beauty is a pantomime not to be missed!

In the 50 years since The Beatles had their first No.1, their music has never been eclipsed, their image has never faded, and they continue to attract new fans with each coming generation.

The original tribute to the greatest movie soundtrack of all time. Now in its 4th smash hit year, it’s the ultimate celebration of the iconic music from the classic movie.

For over thirty of those years, The Bootleg Beatles, who return to the Grimsby Auditorium have been performing these ‘classic’ pop songs to audiences across the globe, winning over even the most hardened sceptics with their stunning recreation of The Beatles’ sound and look.

Dirty Dancing boasts a multi award-winning soundtrack and all the hits are here, superbly performed in this fast moving, slickly choreographed treat. Songs include: Big Girls Don’t Cry, Hey Baby, Wipeout, Do You Love Me, Hungry Eyes and the Oscar-winning (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.

With a little help from their orchestral ensemble, they even manage to reproduce live on stage songs The Fab Four never actually performed themselves. Every tiny detail is meticulously covered from costumes to authentic period instruments; from their witty ‘Scouse’ banter to their ‘inflection perfect’ vocal mimicry.

This sexy song and dance spectacular is an interactive roller coaster, featuring a dynamic cast of incredible performers sure to show you the time of your life! Please note this production is not affiliated with Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story On Stage in the West End or on tour in the UK and worldwide.
