The dazzling success of the first five albums in the Dreamboats and Petticoats series sent the message loud and clear. But when Bobby discovers that shy Laura is no slouch on the piano, love and rock ‘n’ roll fame beckons. ‘THE BEST DANCE ACTORS IN THE WORLD’ DANCE EUROPE

Divided by a barbed wire fence, Bruno doesn’t understand anything about where Shmuel lives, or who he is. To him, he’s just a new friend – a boy wearing a pair of striped pyjamas. As this unlikely friendship blossoms against the backdrop of the unthinkable events of World War II, Bruno’s childlike curiosity leads this poignant story to a devastating conclusion. The UK’s foremost narrative ballet company, Northern Ballet, present this heartbreaking story through dance for the very first time. Based upon The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne by special arrangement with Miramax.

FROM THE TEAM THAT BROUGHT YOU 10 YEARS OF AGATHA CHRISTIE AND THIS YEAR’S CLASSIC THRILLER THEATRE COMPANY HIT REHEARSAL FOR MURDER Directed by Roy Marsden Designed by Julie Godfrey Sound by Dan Samson

FOLLOWING TEN YEARS OF THE AGATHA CHRISTIE THEATRE COMPANY, A NEW THRILLER FROM ‘THE BEST WOMAN CRIME WRITER SINCE CHRISTIE’ THE SUNDAY TIMES

Building on the phenomenal decade-long success of The Agatha Christie Theatre Company, which sold over two million tickets and continually played to packed houses around the UK, Bill Kenwright presents a new production adapted from one of the most celebrated works of the writer often hailed as the successor to Agatha Christie. Eunice struggles to fit in. When she joins a wealthy family as their housekeeper the very reason for her awkwardness, long hidden and deeply buried, leads inexorably to a terrible tale of murder in cold blood – on Valentine’s Day. Ruth Rendell’s brilliant plot unravels a lifetime of deceit, despair and cover-ups which, when revealed, brings a shocking revelation almost as grizzly as murder itself. Led by Director Roy Marsden, best known for playing PD James’ Detective Adam Dalgliesh, the cast includes Film, TV and Stage favourite Sophie Ward who played the ill-fated love interest of Young Sherlock Holmes and Dr Helen Trent in ITV drama Heartbeat, pop-idol Mark Wynter who since his hit parade days has featured in seven Agatha Christie Company productions, Deborah Grant (Not Going Out, Bergerac), movie icon Shirley Anne Field who became an overnight star in The Entertainer and Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, Antony Costa who shot to fame in chart topping boy band Blue, and Agatha Christie Company stalwart Ben Nealon whose TV credits include ITV’s award-winning Soldier Soldier. | 26 |
