We have developed a work experience programme for students studying at GCSE level and above, who are passionate about gaining experience in a working theatre. Students will experience first hand how a receiving venue works, spend time working within various departments and assigned tasks which may be developed and delivered within the business!

We are delivering show-themed workshops for the following productions: Sunderland Empire offers a creative learning programme, which develops and leads participatory, educational and arts activities, events and projects inspired by the shows on stage, with the aim to meaningfully involve and engage the local community. RESTORATION FUND All ticket prices have a £1 restoration levy applied. The restoration fund enables the theatre to maintain its splendour throughout.
