You’re in Good Company Goodwill stands ready to help you make your transition to civilian life. Goodwill has forged partnerships with Starbucks, Walmart Foundation and JPMorgan Chase to support these services and programs that help improve the lives and futures of veterans. The way we see it, you’ve earned it.

Services for Veterans Connect

The Goodwill relationship is part of Starbucks strategic commitment to develop a comprehensive hiring platform for veterans and active duty spouses. Starbucks has opened a Community Store at 8227 State Highway 151 as part of a relationship with Goodwill of San Antonio. The Community Store supports Goodwill’s Veterans Outreach Programs which prepares and places transitioning veterans across San Antonio into the workforce and helps them transition to civilian life. One of our Veterans Outreach Programs is Operation: GoodJobs, which provides a variety of services to empower military veterans with the tools they need to find employment, succeed in the workplace and permanently support their families. Operation: GoodJobs enables Goodwill of San Antonio to work with business partners to match veterans with employers, and provide them with job search assistance and free employment placement, screening, and support services, including child care, nutrition advice and transportation. Each participant in the Operation: GoodJobs program receives a complete career assessment and an individualized development plan. As a Goodwill partner, JPMorgan Chase is committed to helping veterans. Funding provided by JPMorgan Chase builds on existing Goodwill programs to connect veterans with education and career opportunities and services to successfully transition into the workforce.
