Athlone Institute of Technology
Open Days Friday 16 November 9.30am - 2.00pm Saturday 17 November 10am - 12 noon www.ait.ie/openday
Open Days at AIT present an ideal opportunity to discover more about going to college in Athlone. You will get to talk with lecturers about courses that are of interest to you, find out what you will be studying and what type of jobs you can expect to qualify for. You will also meet with current AIT students to get the low-down on college life; from completing assignments to going for sporting glory. Exhibition areas are located in the canteen of the main building on campus, the Engineering and Informatics Building, the science facilities, and the Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Studies Building. A guide to the full schedule of talks is featured opposite. Campus tours will guide you around our facilities, which have received more than €100 million investment since 2000. Get to see lecture theatres and labs, as well as the institute’s sporting facilities and social areas. Our student ambassadors are on hand to guide you around the campus and to answer any of your questions about college life. They are the ones in the bright green t-shirts, so you can’t miss them!
