Dilly The throne passed to Dil ly, royal palace on Purple Clo who ruled from the ud. She was a sociable and ambitious young cu cumber who threw lavish parties, befriended her people and grew Munch Land into the thriving pla ce it is today. And so, the years passed in relative harmony, with all the co mmunities of Munch Land living as they always ha d – under the power of the cucumbers. That is, until King Corge. Work-shy and unreliable, he left the run ning of Munch Land to his queen, Jet. And this wa s to be his downfall.
MUNCH CAT S CLUB orge King C Queen Jet was a fierce and unforgiving ruler. She tore down Munch Land’s natural forests and the palace dungeon had to be extended. It’s said she particularly detested Munch Cats, grow ing paranoid as their numbers grew across the land. King Corge mostly ignored his people, occu pying himself with amateur filmmaking and gokarting races – until one day he didn’t reach the finish line. He was met on the street by upset cloud citiz ens asking him why he’d banned Hoober Owls from Munch Land. Flabbergasted, King Corge fled home to find his queen and ask about this rumour. Cold and calculated, Queen Jet confessed that it was true. Now, no residents of Munch Land wou ld be able to reach the human world!

YOU WILL NEED Empty 2 L plastic bottle Black marker pen Craft knife or scissors Small piece of sponge White acrylic paint Pink marker
TOP TIP!
Protect your workspace by laying down some sheets of newspaper before you start painting!
3 Draw around your plastic bottle (about 1/3 of the way up) with a black marker, adding cat ears to one side.

Ask a grown-up to cut along the black marker line using a craft knife or scissors.

Dab your piece of sponge in white acrylic paint and apply the paint to the outside of your pot.

Balance your pot over a cup in order to paint the bottom. Once your pot is painted, leave it to dry.

Draw eyes, whiskers and a mouth onto your pot using a black marker. Add a nose and cheeks using a pink marker. So cute!
AMAZI! Now you can add compost and a plant of your choice. Or perhaps try sowing some seeds!

Using a ruler and pencil, measure and draw 5x5 cm squares across your gold paper.
Cut out your 5x5 cm squares. Fold each square diagonally into a triangle. Make sure the creases are sharp!
4 Repeat step 3, adding more triangles to your strip of glued triangles. You want the strip to be long enough to reach around your head (with a little bit leftover!).

5 Once fully dry, wrap the strip around your head and insert one end’s triangle into the other end’s triangle. Use a pencil to mark where the bottom-right corner of the inner triangle comfortably reaches.
3 On the outer bottom-right corner of one of your triangles, add a blob of glue. Partially insert this corner into another triangle. Press the corners together to stick (you may need to place something heavy on top of the paper until it’s well sealed!).
6 Add a blob of glue on top of your pencil mark, then stick the bottom-right corner of the other triangle to it. Press down until sealed.

Treasure tower! Your boxes can sit on top of each other!
Cut out a coloured pair of squares from your origami sheet. You will start with the sheet with a Munch Cat face. Fold it in half to create a rectangle.

Lift the sides up along the closest crease followed by the end furthest away from you, pushing the corners inwards as you do so.
Unfold, then repeat in the opposite direction.

Fold the top flap back on itself to make the side of your box the same height as the first two sides. This will create pointy ears!

Unfold. Fold the corner closest to the cat face into the centre, then fold in the corner opposite. Fold the paper in half lengthways.
Unfold this last crease. Fold the straight edges in, towards the horizontal crease you just made.

Repeat steps 6–7 with the other end of your lid. Set it aside.
Time to make a box bottom! Follow steps 1 to 6 with your second sheet of paper (ignoring the cat face). When you reach step 7, fold the flaps into the box instead.

Unfold the two folds you just made and rotate your paper 90 degrees. Fold the top and bottom points at the lines shown above. Unfold.

Add glue to the cat ears to keep them flat, then pop your lid onto the box. Amazi!

YOU WILL NEED 300 g porridge oats 250 g smooth peanut butter 160 g maple syrup 80 g chocolate beans Sheet of baking paper

1 Pour your maple syrup into the large mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients until combined and the oats are sticking together. Put the peanut butter into a microwaveable bowl and microwave until slightly runny (about 20 seconds!). Add the peanut butter to the large mixing bowl. Pour the porridge oats into a large mixing bowl.

5 Place your oat bites onto a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Yeebi! Next step is munching!
Add your chocolate beans, then mix those in too. Yumbo!

Lay down a sheet of baking paper. Scoop up a tablespoon of the mixture and use your fingers to form it into a ball. Place it on the baking paper. Repeat until you run out of mixture!
