HYLLESTAD

Travel back in time in Hyllestad. At the Millstone Park you can see traces of the distinctive production of millstones, going right back to Viking times. Guided tours are organised in the summer, taking you back in time. There is also an information centre and souvenir shop. Simple refreshments are available. You’ll also find a Visitor Point at FjordKick in Sørbøvåg.

If you enjoy activities such as fishing and hiking, you’ve come to the right place! Hyllestad offers rich sea fishing as well as excellent waters for trout. Take a bikeride along the fjord, or go padling on the fjord or water. If you are seeking adrenalin then a jetskisafari is something for you.
