Therapeutics Camp

Coan Park Therapeutics Summer Program provides participants with special needs a variety of adapted recreational activities, visual arts and swimming. Campers enrolled in the program will also have access to occupational therapy, speech therapy and hippotherapy. All campers must participate in an interview.

Ages 6 – 18

Location: Coan Park

Program Dates: Jun. 5 – Jul. 21

Days & Hours: Mon. – Fri. / 7:30 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.

Registration Fees: Residents $35.00 per week, Non-Residents $110.00 per week

DAY AT THE LAKE EXPERIENCE: DAY CAMP VISIT FOR PARTICIPANTS

Spend the day at our wilderness camp on the shore of Lake Allatoona. Campers can explore the many natural wonders in and around camp including nature trails, animal tracks, birds and trees while engaging in environmental education, competitions, swimming, boating, hiking, and more. Campers will be transported from their campus to the lake grounds and back according to the predetermined scheduled date.

Primetime Senior Camps

If you think summer camps have an age limit, think again! Atlanta residents, ages 55 and older, can join in on the Camp Best Friends fun as well. Join us this summer for arts & crafts, music & dance, technology, table games, fitness & wellness and trips!

Ages: 55+

Locations: Arthur Langford, C.A. Scott, Old Adamsville, Rev. James Orange

Days & Hours: Mon. – Fri. / 7:30 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.

Registration Fees: Residents Only, No fee for enrollment

Atlanta Teen Academy

The ATL Teen Leaders Academy offers teens ages 13–18 the opportunity to become involved in their community while receiving leadership training throughout the school year. This program aims to serve at the forefront of educating, empowering, and equipping young people to set extraordinary personal goals, operate with high moral and ethical standards, and to perform with unprecedented professional excellence.

Ages 13 – 18

Location: Adams Park (14-18) - Atlanta Teen Leaders Academy

Thomasville (13-14) – Junior Academy

Zaban (14-18) - Girls Empowerment Academy

Central (ages 14-18) - Boys Empowerment Academy
