International Sales Update


The 5th Annual Travel South USA International Showcase  Met with over 79 international buyers from 13 different countries.  Rhythms of the South hosted luncheon with local band Larkin Poe.  Y'all Ball Final Night Event was hosted jointly by the State of Georgia Tourism Office and the Atlanta CVB.  Atlanta will host the 6th annual showcase from Nov 28Dec 1,2016.

U.S. China Tourism Leadership Summit  The U.S. – China Leadership Summit is a high level gathering of government officials and travel executives with the purpose of building and strengthening the relationships between the U.S. and China travel industries.  Main partners are Brand USA and China National Tourism Administration (CNTA). Summit switches between USA and China.  Atlanta was awarded the 2017 Summit.  It will be the first time Atlanta has hosted the summit.

VISITORS TO ATLANTA 1.2 million international visitors to Atlanta are projected for 2015, this would be roughly flat with 2014. Overseas is projected to have grown 3% to approximately 770,000. Canada has a projected decline. TOTAL INTERNATIONAL
