Atlanta History Center has an incredible bookstore tucked just behind the atrium café. The warm and eclectic space offers a unique twist on traditional museum shopping. Enjoy a coffee from local roaster BRASH, then browse the extensive book selection highlighting regional history.

Peek at the evolution of the city in photographs in “Atlanta: Then & Now” by Michael Rose. Vow to learn more about the role women have played in Southern politics with a copy of “Goldwater Girls to Reagan Women.” There might even be a signed copy, as author Robin M.
