An internationally known pop culture convention More than 3,000 hours of programming from the worlds of science fiction, fantasy, and gaming Over 400 actors, authors, creators, and professionals Over 65,000 fans from around the world Fun for the whole family Making Labor Day Atlanta’s favorite holiday


What Happens At Dragon Con?

We invented the multi-genre pop culture convention


The Dragon Con Parade 

Join Us! - Saturday at 10am every year

3,200 participants and 55 vehicles

Enjoyed by 75,000+ spectators

Since 2000, Atlanta’s largest parade each year


For The Fans, By The Fans ❖

Fans are the engine that drives Dragon Con. ❖

2,200 volunteers plan, organize, and manage programming.

Volunteers also handle IT, logistics, and operations.

A full-time, year-round staff of 11 supported by more than 100 volunteer directors.

Dragon Con is the largest fan run convention in the industry.

Half of our attendees come from Georgia.

80% of attendees come from the Southeast.

3% of attendees come from outside the United States.

Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. All 50 states are represented at Dragon Con

Giving Back 

Since 2005, Dragon Con has donated over $690,000 to local charities.

Over 900 hours of community service in 2014 through Dragon Con Superheroes program.

The largest convention-based blood drive in the nation.

We help the Make-a-Wish Foundation grant wishes.

This year’s official charity is the Lymphoma Research Foundation


Year Round Participation  Consistent engagement with 200,000 followers across social media platforms  Special member nights at venues throughout Atlanta, including the Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta Braves, and Medieval Times  Membership benefits year around including discounts with partners like Six Flags, Michael’s, Delta Air Lines, Olympus Worldwide, Enterprise/National Rental Car, and Scooteround
