play in harmony

Harmony is more than just a place. It’s a way of life. You’ll find new opportunities to come together or to get away waiting around every corner – all crafted with care to support community and connection.

BLUEBIRD TRAIL

NEST CAFÉ

This iconic barn acts as a gateway into Harmony. The Hive combines function and form into one community space. A large indoor gathering space with a stage stands ready for fun to share and memories to make. The Hive also houses Harmony’s mail center.

Tucked just behind the barn, you will find a cozy corner with outdoor seating, perfect for morning coffee or afternoon chats.

Harmony’s own Apiary is an educational asset with tasty benefits. Supporting and increasing the local honeybee population is an important conservation effort that contributes to pollination and the health of the environment, not to mention the sweet rewards of local honey.

Indulge your inner farmer at Harmony’s Community Garden, where you can cultivate your own fresh veggies, fruits and herbs, connect with neighbors, share growing tips or just sit in the shade of the gazebo and enjoy the view.

COMMUNITY GARDEN

THE HIVE

Reflecting Harmony’s active interest in conservation, the community’s Bluebird Trail is a network of houses built to expand and protect the native bluebird population. These harbingers of spring make great neighbors – helping with pest control and showing off their musical melodies.

FLOURISHING TOGETHER

Harmony lies at the heart of historic Downtown Auburn, complementing its vision for sustainable growth and vitality in a thriving city center destination. The neighborhood is thoughtfully woven around the town’s developing heart and hub, blending the two seamlessly into one vibrant, walkable community. Auburn was honored as a 2021 Visionary City by the Georgia Municipal Association and Georgia Trend magazine.

The surviving structure of the original Perry-Rainey Center campus, the former girl’s dormitory building built in 1902, is now a newly renovated special events space where residents and visitors can appreciate the timelessly graceful architecture.

Providing an iconic gateway into the city center, Auburn’s new City Hall is a nod to history with its architecture designed to recreate the historic administrative building at the town’s original college, the Perry-Rainey Institute, constructed in 1892 and torn down in 1958. With more than 33,000+/- square feet to accommodate current and future city operations, the Municipal Complex will be home to Auburn’s city business offices, Court Services, Mayor and Council chambers and the Police Department.

Auburn Elementary School sits just one block away from Harmony.
