Shakespeare’s The Tempest comes to Alabama Shakespeare Festival in February ASF Artistic

Director Rick Dildine’s fast-paced production is a magical story of intrigue, adventure, and romance. When the vengeful Prospero (played by ASF favorite Greta Lambert) conjures a violent storm to shipwreck her betrayers on the island where she’s exiled, a fantastical tale of forgiveness unfolds. Shift gears in April with the musical Million Dollar Quartet. Go back to December 1956 at Sun Records, when Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis meet and record a legendary jam session for the rockand-roll ages. STARR-KIDD will have its world premiere on the Hertz Stage at Alliance Theatre March 1 – April 2, 2023. When a 12-year-old computer genius, Jasmine realizes that time travel is a lot easier to figure out than trying to convince her parents to get back together, she decides to take matters into her own hands.
