A pumpkin, a party and a princess will light up the stage with a fresh production of Cinderella at City Springs this March. Roswell Dance Theatre is thrilled to present this classic tale to the greater Atlanta community. There is a castle, a fairy godmother, a carriage, a fabulous ball, an important clock and the legendary magical slipper. On the way to her future, Cinderella works hard, faces some obstacles, and experiences magical moments, all told through the beauty of both classical and contemporary ballet. The outstanding cast of professionals and aspiring young artists expresses the well-known elements of Cinderella’s transformation in four dazzling performances.

What really happens to the pumpkin? Does the clock strike 12 as expected? Will the shoe fit? And what happens to the stubborn and sassy stepsisters? Find out at the beautiful Byers Theatre. The show is presented with Aladdin, from Atlanta Dance Theatre, so guests will see both shows with one ticket! The Saturday matinee features a cast Meet & Greet to capture the perfect photos and autographs of everyone’s favorite princesses.

Roswell Dance Theatre is the performing company of the Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance. While marking the dance school’s 40th season, the celebration will continue next year as the school moves into a brand new studio, the largest in North Fulton. The building will house six state-of-the-art studios, a theatre, wellness room, rooftop lounge, café, costume warehouse, prop shop and more. With over 130 classes offered weekly for students ages 2 and up, the curriculum includes ballet, tap, modern, jazz, acrobatics, hip-hop, aerial silks as well as private instruction and specialty classes/events. Founder and director Nancy Tolbert Yilmaz has a passion for pursuing excellence for her students. This covers all aspects of the dancer experience, including outstanding instruction, exceptional facilities and continual opportunities for each student to grow and perform. Over 1,000 enrolled students, from toddlers to adult, are taught by 25 faculty members and supported by 10 staff members and affiliated musicians
