Atlanta Dance Theatre SEASON 38
With the start of 2020, a new decade and a leap year, Atlanta Dance Theatre (ADT) is proud to leap into our 38th season of entertaining North Atlanta’s audiences under the stewardship and talent of our Artistic Director, Shelley Grames.
With the new year, spring brings our exciting ballet performance of Aladdin. Uniquely choreographed by Kassandra Taylor Newberry, you’ll watch this beloved tale come to life on the stage. Leap aboard the magical carpet for this performance and we’ll transport you from a far east market to a cave full of treasures and on to a royal castle where you’ll experience the adventure and the mystical tale of Aladdin.
In his search for riches and the attention of the beautiful princess. Aladdin discovers a magical lamp and an extraordinary Genie who grants wishes. What will it take to spoil the plans of the evil sorceress who is plotting against him and win the heart and hand of Princess Jasmine?
This ballet is filled with colorful characters, romance, twists, turns and humorous exploits. Your entire family will delight in the dazzling costumes, and enchanting performances of our remarkable group of Atlanta Dance Theatre dancers, complimented by our professional guest artists including Jonah Hooper, Nick Hagelin and Eric Nash.

Join us for this magical adventure March 20-22nd as part of dual performances to be held at City Springs Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available now at SpringBalletConcert.com.
In addition to our seasonal performances, ADT dancers perform at the RDA/ Southeast Ballet Festival. The many performances and training are part of ADT’s well-rounded program that also encourages giving back through volunteerism to the community off stage. These skills, experiences and opportunities serve our dancers well as they learn how to succeed in their daily commitments and balance their lives inside and outside the studio.
We appreciate our families and patrons and we hope you enjoy our 2019-2020 season. Atlanta Dance Theatre’s dance company is a 501c3 non-profit organization and we encourage your donations and support. Visit AtlantaDanceTheatre.org and follow us online at: facebook.com/AtlantaDanceTheatre/
