NEWSLETTER March 2010 Colours of the Ocean at Lineapelle
Salmon leather; design by Isilda Pelicano.
“Colours of the Ocean” will be the hallmark of Atlantic Leather’s stand at the Lineapelle international leather fair in Italy, 16 to 18 March. That is the theme of the company’s summer 2011 range of fishleather, with a palette of colours from “cheerful aquamarine waves” to “peaceful crimson seaweed.” At the exhibition stand we will also be showing our Classic range, along with samples of design goods using fishleather (Pavilion 16, stand C30).
Classic fruits Keen to serve its clients and respond to their requests, Atlantic Leather has established a place for itself in exotic leathers. The fruit of its labours is seen in the Classic range: combinations of leather type, colour and texture, proved by years of experience and development to appeal to discriminating clients.
The power of unity
Bags, fashionwear and interior design On view at our stand at Lineapelle will be examples of fishleather used in bags, garments and interior design: these are the main growth areas for fishleather today.
Fish-pattern panels
Wolffish leather; design by Secret North
Hitherto, shoe manufacturers have been our main clients, as the size of fishleather skins is particularly suitable for that application. But in recent years designers and manufacturers have been testing the limits of the material, and reaching the simple conclusion that there is power in unity! Skins can be sewn together, to open new possibilities for the use of fishleather. And Atlantic Leather is making its contribution to this new development, with its fishleather panels.
In keeping with this trend, Atlantic Leather is producing three types of salmon-leather panels. We recommend especially the fish-pattern panels. As the name implies, the irregular natural shape of the skins is highlighted, giving the panels an interesting mobility. Fish-pattern panels are also the most economical, as almost none of the natural skin is wasted. In short, we make optimum use of the raw material in fish-pattern panels, and we want our clients to do the same.
Make your own panel We at Atlantic Leather pride ourselves on flexible service. This is seen especially in production of panels, as we offer you the opportunity to make your own panel. You can pick one classic colour, create a pattern of delicate variations of shade and texture, or go wild with the Colours of the Ocean!
We look forward to seeing you at stand C30, Pavilion 16 at Lineapelle. What colour of the ocean are you?
