Congratulations you are the owner of a new Atlantic watch! This is a quality Swiss brand that has a long history and tradition, we hope it gives you many years enjoyment and accurate timekeeping.

1

General guarantee guidelines ATLANTIC SA provides a twenty-four-month guarantee from the date of purchase on your ATLANTIC watch, according to the conditions contained in the present guarantee. ATLANTIC’s international guarantee covers material and manufacturing faults existing at the time of delivery of the purchased ATLANTIC watch. The guarantee comes into effect only if the guarantee certificate is dated, fully completed and correctly stamped by an official ATLANTIC dealer. For the life of the guarantee and on presentation of the valid guarantee certificate, any defects will be repaired free of charge. In case such repairs do not restore your ATLANTIC watch to full working order, ATLANTIC undertakes to replace it with an identical or similar model. The guarantee of the replacement watch will expire twenty-four (24) months after the reception date of the replaced watch.

2

This guarantee does not cover: • The functional life of the battery. • Normal wear and tear and ageing (for example scratches on the glass, changes in the colour and or materials of the straps and non-metal parts, such as leather, textiles or rubber, or the flaking of the plating, where applicable. • Damage due to inappropriate or excessive wear, carelessness, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, glass breakages). • Non-observance of the usage instructions provided by ATLANTIC with the new watch. • Defects resulting from the intervention of a non-authorized person (for example, during the replacement of the battery, servicing or repairs involving nonoriginal ATLANTIC replacement parts). Any other claims against ATLANTIC, for example for damages other than those defined under the above-mentioned guarantee are explicitly excluded, except for the legally binding rights to which a buyer may be entitled from a manufacturer.

3

This manufacturer’s guarantee : • Is independent of any guarantee, which may be provided by the seller and for which he commits himself with sole responsibility ; • Does not in any way affect the rights to which the buyer may be entitled from the seller, nor any other legally binding right in connection with a litigation. ATLANTIC SA’s customer service takes care of the perfect maintenance of your ATLANTIC watch. Should you entrust your watch to an official ATLANTIC dealer or to an authorized ATLANTIC service centre (see enclosed list), they will guarantee a perfect service that complies with ATLANTIC SA’s standards. Maintenance Temperature: Do not expose your watch to sudden temperature changes (e.g. to strong sunlight after immersion in cold water) or to extreme temperatures (above 60°C or below 0°C). Magnetic fields: Do not place your watch near loudspeakers, refrigerators, cellphones, computers or other electromagnetic equipment, as these may have strong magnetic fields.

4

Impacts: Avoid thermic or other impacts: they can damage your watch. In case of a violent impact, have your ATLANTIC watch checked by an official ATLANTIC service centre. Chemicals: Avoid direct contact with solvents, perfumes, cosmetic products, etc.: they may damage bracelets, cases or seals. Care and maintenance: Clean the case and bracelet regularly with a soft cloth to prevent corrosion caused by perspiration. All water-resistant watches can be cleaned with a toothbrush and soapy water (except the leather strap), and then dried with a soft cloth. In case of immersion in sea water, the watch should be rinsed in soft water and then thoroughly dried. Water resistance: The water resistance of ATLANTIC watches is tested under vacuum in our laboratories, comparable to those undergone by a swimmer or diver at comparable pressures and depths. ATLANTIC watches are water resistant to 30m (3atm), 50m (5atm). 100m (10atm), 200m (20atm) or 300m (30atm), depending on the model, and tested to the corresponding water resistance levels for these pressures. Watch water resistance cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. Glass, crowns seals 5

and pushers deteriorate with age and use. A substantial impact can impede water resistance. Have your watch periodically checked for water resistance at an official ATLANTIC service centre. Never operate the watch while you are in the water and ensure that the crown is pushed/screwed down fully after each manipulation. It is very important to make sure that with a screw-in crown system, after each manipulation of the crown e.g. when resetting the date or the time, the crown is carefully and completely screwed back down. Only this will guarantee the best water-resistance. Under no circumstances open your watch or remove the case back yourself; have it checked only by an official ATLANTIC service centre. Material Characteristics of ATLANTIC watches 316L stainless steel: For the production of its cases and metal bracelets, ATLANTIC uses high quality 316L stainless steel, which is extremely robust exceptionally resistant to corrosion. For example, this quality is also used in the manufacture of medical implants.

6

Galvanic coating: Additional coatings may be applied by electrolysis to ATLANTIC cases and bracelets made of 316L stainless steel. The galvanic coatings of the ATLANTIC cases and bracelets have a thickness of 4 microns on18ct gold and one micron on 23ct gold. PVD coating (physical vapour deposit): This process is conducted in a vacuum. Microscopic particles are deposited by ionic bombardment, producing extremely fine, impurity-free surfaces. These have a high level of hardness. Advantages include high hardness, resistance to corrosion, good adherence, comfortable for people with allergies and available in a large range of colours. Titanium: titanium is a metallic element found in the earth’s crust. Hardened titanium is 30% more stable and about 50% lighter than steel, hypo-allergenic as it contains no nickel and is a 100% recyclable. When exposed to the atmosphere, titanium forms a tenacious oxide skin which resists corrosion due to salt water. Sapphire crystal: Sapphire is manufactured from aluminium oxide. Transparent and colourless, it can only be scratched or cut by a diamond. By virtue of its extreme hardness, sapphire is practically free of deterioration or alteration, cannot be scratched 7

and resists wear and tear and chemical attack. When perfectly polished, sapphire is practically transparent. Anti-reflection coating: Various models are provided with an additional anti-reflection coating on the inner side of the sapphire glass, which reduces reflection and allows good readability. Regulation of the disposal of quartz watches*: This symbol indicates that this product must not be thrown away with domestic waste. Please dispose of it at a communal waste collection point or in the trade. By following this procedure, you will be contributing to the protection of the environment and human health. The recycling of materials will help with the conservation of natural resources. * applicable in member countries of the European Community and in countries with a comparable legislation. 11

Allgemeine Garantiebestimmungen Atlantic Watch gewährt Ihnen vierundzwanzig (24) Monate Garantie ab Kaufdatum
