Energy saving rotor A patented rotor provides increased efficiency compared to conventional rotos. This substantially solid rotor re-orients airflow within the grinding chamber. Air volume and velocity are increased on the inner screen surfaces allowing on size product to exit more quickly. In this manor energy is conserved with this new rotor.

Rotary feeders have built in separators with magnets and air separation of foreign matters. Screw feeders are double screw type mounted over the separator. The load dependent hammermill feeder system is an integrated part of the Sprout-Matador hammermill control SM-HM1, which ensures optimum grinding performance and maximum energy utilization.

Optimum hammer coverage of the screen The hammers are placed in staggered rows, which gives optimum hammer coverage of the screen. This results in uniform wear across the entire row of hammers resulting in longer hammer life.
