Welcome to my Epping market report Well, what a good beginning for sellers in 2022! The Epping property market soared to new heights in the last few months with almost twice as many homeowners selling, compared to the first half of 2021, taking advantage of the strong market conditions. Property experts believe prices will flatline by the second half of 2022 when interest rates are expected to rise. The consensus is that growth will likely be a lot softer than the 22% seen in 2021 with bank economists expecting single-digit growth in 2022. I believe that 2022 is still an amazing year for sellers. Of course, it’s hard to predict as demand remains strong across all price points and there are a lot of ex-pats and overseas buyers still wanting to call Epping their home.
