Bringing you tomorrow's power today.

rganizations across the Northeast and Mid Atlantic are realizing quick project paybacks with substantial returns on investment with Combined Heat & Power (CHP). CHP is a clean and reliable technology that generates both electricity and thermal energy (heating or cooling processes) from natural gas. These projects can achieve better than four year paybacks and 10 year IRRs over 20%. There are no costs or obligations for Dynamic Energy to develop a CHP project overview and economic statement for your facility. Note that rebate reservation applications for specific programs do have deadlines. While this does create urgency, our team provides a turnkey service and will handle all aspects of the submittal. Thank you for your time and consideration. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience at 732.893.7826.

Sincerely,

Julie McLaughlin Vice President, Business Development

WHAT IS CHP? A CHP system operates by fueling either a reciprocating or turbine driven generator set with natural gas. Electricity is produced by this process similar to standard generators. CHP systems capture the waste heat that is normally exhausted to the atmosphere and utilize it onsite for thermal processes.

22% ANNUAL ENERGY SAVINGS

Smithfield Gardens Assisted Living Community SEYMOUR, CT • 75 kW total CHP • 22% Annual Energy Savings

• Provides 60% of building's total electric & thermal loads Project by preferred vendor partner, AEGIS Energy

COOPER UNION COLLEGE MANHATTAN, NYC • 250 kw CHP system • Powered by Caterpillar • 100% of building's electric & HVAC needs

Project by preferred vendor partner, Elite Energy Systems

100% OF BUILDING'S ELECTRIC & HVAC NEEDS

CHP Benefits & IncentiveS CHP systems generate significant thermal and electrical savings onsite with clean and economical power production.

• Immediate reduction in energy expenses • Increased energy & operational efficiency • Align with organizational sustainability goals • Proven, bankable technology • Up to 40% state/utility cash rebates • 10% federal tax credit • No capital required options (Shared Savings Agreement - SSA) • Financing Available

WHO SHOULD USE CHP? MARKETS & INDUSTRIES SERVED • Food Processing Plants • Manufacturing • Industrial • Healthcare • Pharmaceutical • Universities / Education • Hotels • Multi-family / Assisted Living

FINANCING Now is a great time for CHP. Dynamic can provide multiple financing options for CHP projects including:

Direct Purchase Purchasing a CHP system provides many customer benefits: 1. Significant immediate thermal & electrical savings 2. Direct payback in 3-4 years 3. Return on investment exceeding 20%

SHARED SAVINGS AGREEMENT A Shared Savings Agreement (SSA) provides the host customer power and heat at a discounted rate, with no capital requirement. A third party investor owns the CHP system and enters into a long term power contract with the host. SSAs provide the following benefits to host customers:

No upfront cost or capital investment from the host customer Cash flow positive from day one

4. State rebates of up to 40%

Predictable energy pricing & hedge against electricity prices

5. 10% investment tax credit

No operating risk and no maintenance costs

6. Accelerated depreciation (MACRS)

Align with organizational sustainability goals

7. Traditional bank financing available

Positive press and media outreach

8. Locked forward natural gas contracts

Operating Lease An operating lease enables the host customer to fund the CHP project through a leasing company. The customer receives state cash rebates and funds lease payments with a portion of the improved cash flow derived from lower energy expenses.

Preserve bank lines and working capital for core business operations Significant upside of current incentives and energy savings Historic low lease rates with fixed monthly payments

Customer retains ownership of the system Up to 100% total project cost financing Immediate reduction in energy expense
