These neat in-ceiling THX certified models have been perfected after years of refinement of KEF’s cutting-edge technology. Adding further versatility to the Ci R Series range, these speaker models feature KEF’s signature Uni-Q driver technology, vented aluminium tweeter and Tangerine Waveguide with Z-Flex surround to significantly elevate the performance to home theatre standards where everyone in the room enjoys the same precisely defined sound imagery. And with KEF’s unique Ultra-Thin Bezel (UTB) design offering the slimmest possible rim around the speaker for minimal visual intrusion, all you notice is the clear, natural sound.
IN-WALL HOME THEATRE: CI4100QL, CI3160RL-THX, CI3160REF-THX, CI5160RLTHX, CI5160REF-THX
The tall, rectangular range is designed and specifically engineered for serious music and home theatre system front left, centre, right and side applications. Each in-wall model is intended for a custom home theatre that blends seamlessly into a room without sacrificing on audio quality.
The KEF Ci3160REF-THX and Ci5160REFTHX models are created to the same exacting standards as the rest of the speakers in KEF’s REFERENCE family and are even authenticated with a REFERENCE Build Certificate signed by the craftsman who built it. Certified to THX ULTRA2 standards, they deliver the same rich response of floorstanding systems, but with a thin frame that sits flush in the wall.
As complete systems, the range includes two exceptional in-wall subwoofers; the Ci200QSbTHX with a high-output 200mm sub-bass driver and the Ci3160RLb-THX with three aluminium 165mm bass drivers mounted in a sturdy aluminium baffle. Not only do these two subwoofers provide a visual match to KEF’s Extreme Home Theatre speakers but they perfectly enhance the speakers’ sonic capabilities into a true high performance discreet Theatre system. Refined yet gutsy, these powerful subs can be paired with the KASA500, KEF’s sophisticated 2 x 250WPC DSP controlled subwoofer amplifier for limitless control and integration flexibility.
