DEMONSTRATION, DEMONSTRATION, DEMONSTRATION!

Pulse Cinemas has always offered strong demonstration facilities at its Stansted HQ, now the company has upped the ante once more with a complete revamp all of its facilities. Simon Schino, Director of Sales and Marketing, leads the tour.

The term Reference Cinema means that any system carrying this name must deliver on industry recognised performance levels of course, however with our new flagship home cinema, we wanted to go further. We needed to deliver a new way to design a cinema using every discipline involved to its fullest extent. Our new Reference Cinema uses the best brands available including Alcons Audio, Trinnov, Kaleidescape, Vicoustic, Fortress Seating, Sim2 and Screen Research, all expertly brought to life by our Director of Technical Sales, Simon Gibbs and the team, (for a full kit list go to www.pulsecinemas.com/case-studies). The cinema also draws on the in-house expertise we have in interior design and furnishings to create a space of effortless class, performance and luxury.

Yes, cinemas have mixed interior design and high-performance before, but they have not done it to this level where the products used offer no compromise to the aesthetic ambition or performance demands for the space. This is a cinema where form truly meets function, but don’t take my word for it, come and experience this space for yourself and bring your customers, it’s what we have created it for.

Just across from the Reference Cinema, the Apartment Cinema has been rebuilt and now even more than ever shows the level of performance and comfort you can go to with a compact space. Also using many Pulse Cinemas established favourites, Sim2, Screen Research and Kaleidescape, this space also gives Paradigm and Anthem the chance to flex their home cinema muscles. Space can be at a premium even in large homes and in metropolitan dwellings, space is always hard to come by. The real power of this cinema is that everyone that visits can imagine a system like this fitting somewhere into their home and the ‘buy the room’ urge is very strong. Also in the space we are now proud to present our new division, Pulse Simulations. Game play and multi-media entertainment has come on leaps and bounds in recent times. Weaving the latest games consoles into a home cinema is a great sales point, but at Pulse Cinemas, we always want to go up a level and the racing simulations we present offer a stand-alone experience that driving enthusiasts will want to own. Like the Apartment Cinema system itself, this new experience, with its simulated g-force and myriad of different driving challenges, will put you in the driving seat for powerful demonstrations.

The Media Room has to be experienced

Minotti London showcases interior design and AV in perfect partnership

THE NEXT LEVEL

Going up to the next level of Pulse Cinemas HQ, we have our Media Room, a way of showing visitors just how subtle a high-performance home cinema can be. Woven into the fabric of this space, which was designed by our in-house interior design team, are two home cinema systems, one based around a large screen TV and one using a Screen Research Décor Mask installation that offers the chance for users to add stunning art to their room whilst the cinema is at rest. If you think you have experienced this room before, think again, it’s been reimagined and is better than ever. As the need for integrating systems more fully into existing living spaces and delivering even higher integration between the AV and interior design disciplines grows, this room is the perfect way to show customers how every part of their dream can be made into a reality.

MINOTTI LONDON

Also mixing excellent interior design and furnishings with high-performance home cinema, our relationship with Minotti London is really coming into its own. All the installers who have visited so far have been impressed with just how luxury and cool the space is. It underlines that our brands and concepts deserve to be sitting next to the very best luxury interior brands on the planet. Minotti London does not pick its partners lightly and to be building such a positive relationship with this destination store in the heart of London is delivering a new dimension to our offering. Make a date and we will be delighted to show you around this space which showcases how the Sim2 XTV concept is made to deliver truly integrated cinemas.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES

Also featuring Screen Research and Sim2 XTV, is a new demonstration area in our Reception space. These two brands are showing that these days there are few ‘no-go’ areas for cinema and expanding the idea that these systems can also be used in a widening arena of applications such as in the commercial and hospitality sectors. Come and see how good this new system is as it welcomes you just over the threshold of Pulse Cinemas HQ.

Talking of new systems we have another off-site project in the works, which underlines our ambitions to offer our dealers a multitude of demonstration sites for client meetings, situated around the UK. Located just north of London in a key commuter belt zone, will be a brand-new system partnered with a very special venue. More news on that very soon.

We are holding regular open days at Pulse Cinemas, the next dates will be March 16, and 23, and April 6 and 20. There will be morning and afternoon sessions at these fully catered events, look at our social media feeds, your in-box and the output from Essential Install so you can register and ensure you are a part of what promises to be a fun and informative experience. Above and beyond that, if you need to access these facilities for a client visit, please contact the team at Pulse Cinemas.

Bottom line here is that demonstration is the life blood of this industry. If you take one message, it’s come and see us, bring your customers and together let’s build a new era in luxury AV, home cinema, automation and entertainment experiences.
