Family of missing Evansville woman trying to keep hope alive during busy holiday season

At a time when most people are busy celebrating the joy of the holiday season with loved ones, the family of Dawnita Wilkerson is left feeling frustrated by the lack of progress in the search for the 46-year-old mother of six. Last seen at a local motel on June 21, 2020 as she stepped into a silver/pewter-colored 2004 SUV, Wilkerson disappeared without a trace and has now been missing for two and a half years. Her children continue to struggle with the loss of their mother (son Kylar sadly passed away last February) and are desperate for answers - but none seem to be forthcoming.

Still, Wilkerson's family refuses to give up; they're doing their best to keep hope alive despite the apparent lack of cooperation from detectives. It may ultimately be up to the public to solve this case - Wilkerson's loved ones remain convinced that someone out there has crucial information that could lead to her whereabouts. To that end, a $5000 reward is being offered to encourage anyone who has information to come forward. You may call the tipline at 812435-6194 or email finddawnitawilkerson@gmail.com.
