EACH MONTH WE’LL BE CHECKING IN WITH THE VHS FOR THE LATEST GOOD NEWS AND TO HELP FIND FUREVER HOMES FOR SOME OF THEIR MORE UNIQUE AND OLDER RESIDENTS

FRANKIE: Meet Frankie! This senior lady has a personality larger than life and is the boss of her domain (which, for now, is a staff member’s office at the VHS). At 10 years young, she’s ready to spend her golden years in a home! All she needs to stay happy is a comfy cat bed and a rug to roll around on. She LOVES catnip and is very vocal when she wants attention - which she deserves every bit of. Her adoption fee is $80, but is waived for anyone over the age of 70. Come meet this amazing girl today at the VHS!

JUNIPER: Meet Juniper, a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd/ Border Collie mix available for adoption at the VHS! Not much is known about Juniper’s past, other than she is deaf and was probably born that way. Other than making her extra shy in a shelter environment, her disability has no impact on her quality of life whatsoever. She makes fast friends and loves playing with other dogs and older kiddos. Juniper’s adoption fee is $150, which includes her spay, microchip and up-to-date vaccines.

CRYSTAL: We want to be clear when we say that Crystal is a very special rabbit in need of a very special adopter. Underweight with her feet stained yellow, this one-yearold female rabbit came to the VHS in need of some TLC! Because she was likely under-cared for in her former life, she is shy with new people and needs some extra love and comfort to build her confidence back up. Her new home will also need to understand that rabbits need enrichment, a well-balanced diet, and their enclosures cleaned regularly. Interested in adding this girl to your home? Visit her at the VHS or apply online at vhslifesaver.org.
