Outdoor venue's 2021 live music series kicks off with a hair-raising performance

LINCOLN AMPHITHEATRE | MAY 1 | 6 P.M.

In addition to upcoming concerts at the Old National Events Plaza and Owensboro Sportscenter, mark your calendar for the opening night of Lincoln Amphitheatre's 2021 live music series. Truly one of the nation's most spectacular venues, there are few better places to take in a show; the beauty of the surrounding scenery and welcoming intimacy of this storied outdoor site - located just 55 minutes northeast of Evansville - make it more than worth the short trip.

First up on the Lincoln Amphitheatre stage this season is Slippery When Wet, a Bon Jovi tribute band that's toured internationally to great acclaim - not to mention was officially authorized in 2007 by the legendary hair metal heroes themselves. In fact, in 2018, singer Jason Morey was chosen to perform as the only Jon Bon Jovi impersonator in the “Legends in Concert” Las Vegas show.

For this special acoustic performance, two SWW members will revisit all the hair-raising hits, including "Livin' on a Prayer," "Dead or Alive," "You Give Love a Bad Name," "It's My Life," "I'll Be There for You," "Bed of Roses," "Bad Medicine" and many more. In other words, if you grew up in the 80's, this will be the soundtrack of your teenage years played out in a fantastic live setting.

With safety protocols still in place, seating is limited, so don't wait to secure your tickets!
