LePort Summer Camp

A Camp Like No Other! • For 2nd - 8th Grade Summer of finding your passion! At LePort Schools, we believe that the most successful, happy adults are those who find a passion they can transform into a career, who discover an activity they’re really good at, and who become respected experts in what they love to do! Learning the process of identifying that passion is one way students at LePort gain Knowledge for Life! How do we help students find their passion? How do we make it fun and meaningful?

Four Ways:

1. Engaging Camp Activities – Our camps offer more than just the basics. They are designed to give each student a wealth of experiences as they dive deep into the topics of each camp. Students will try different activities within each camp and learn which aspects they enjoy most. 2. Exceptional Teachers – All our camps are led by experienced teachers who know how to help children identify their strengths, interests, and goals. They also model introspection to develop self-awareness of personal abilities and offer guidance on how to pursue their interests even after camp is over. 3. Three Week Sessions – Students get to enjoy each camp thoroughly without feeling rushed to fit everything into one week. They’ll have the opportunity to deeply explore their areas of interest and ultimately attain a sense of fulfillment when they complete an intricate project or master a new skill. 4. Social Teams – Over three consecutive weeks, our students really get to know each other and learn how to work well with different personalities and points of view. Learning to collaborate successfully fosters more meaningful friendships, effective teamwork skills, and a better overall social experience.
