DEAR PATRONS Welcome BACK to Broadway the AT&T Performing Arts Center and to see Waitress. This hilarious hit musical features original music and lyrics by 8-time Grammy® nominee Sara Bareilles. And the Winspear Opera House is the perfect place to see this “slice of heaven.” Next up Oklahoma!, and the comedy hit The Prom. Everyone’s invited to the joyous Broadway hit that New York Magazine hails as “smart and big-hearted” while The New York Times declares it “makes you believe in musical comedy again!” THE PROM is a new musical comedy about big Broadway stars, a small town, and a love that unites them all. None of these shows have been seen in the Winspear Opera House before, and most are touring for the very first time. And the AT&T Performing Arts Center is more than Broadway. It’s where you can find some of the best shows in Dallas. We present concerts, like Black Violin on May 19th and Jesse James Decker on May 21st in Strauss Square; comedy like Theo Von on May 25th and speakers, such as Hasan Minhaj on May 15th. We present the finest dance companies in the world, with our partner TITAS/Dance Unbound, like Ballet X June 3rd. The Center stages are home to our five esteemed resident companies: Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center and Texas Ballet Theater. And through our Elevator Project we present the best of and emerging Dallas arts groups. Kick off your weekends at Sammons Park with free outdoor events perfect for the whole family, including activities for children like face painting, balloon artists, and a petting zoo. You can even play lawn games and a round of putt-putt at the Reliant Putting Green. Take a mid-day wellness break and enjoy a free outdoor yoga class by instructors Tara Paulsen and Maddie Goff from City Yoga Dallas. This 45-minute class is suitable for beginners however all experience levels are welcome. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, wear comfortable clothes and sunscreen. We are thrilled to continue safely providing some of the best live entertainment and community experiences in North Texas. No matter what kind of live performing arts you prefer, you’ll find many reasons to visit our campus again soon. Thank you again for coming back! The AT&T Performing Arts Center – it’s Yours to Discover!
Sincerely,
Debbie Storey President and CEO AT&T Performing Arts Center
