Disc Jockey: DJ Enjoy Description: As a composer, Khalil explores all realms of music at least a little bit. Although focusing on ambient music for the majority, Khalil tends to branch out to the far reaches of music including such composers as Guillaume de Machaut, Arvo Pärt and Erik Satie. His show does not discriminate by genre, but instead looks for music that has an effect on

the listener so great and so pure that it cannot be denied. Music included can be from any time, any place, and, most importantly, any style. From noise to Gregorian chant, one can expect to hear almost anything.

Disc Jockey: FAIR Description: A nationally syndicated radio show, Counterspin is produced by the media watchdog organization FAIR. Counterspin works to expose and highlight biased and inaccurate news, censored stories and the power of corporate influence, as well as sexism, racism and homophobia in the news.

Disc Jockey: Various Description: A jazz music show hosted by a rotation of WCSB programmers,with each programmer having their own flavors and preferences.

Disc Jockey: DJ Ymptom Description: A curated shuffle of music spanning a wide range of styles and eras. What was once a strictly formatted show taking listeners to the deepest corners of ambient and drone is now a freeform survey of pretty much anything that comes my way and sounds good.

Disc Jockey: Kristin Description: An international array of primal garage rock, garage-punk, garagey psychrock, frat, surf, soul, and so on and so forth. Sounds spanning the 60s to the present day and the latest releases. Zip up your go-go boots for a trip in the wayback machine and back.

Disc Jockey: Brother Love Description: Universal Soul Express is a radio show that plays soul music. Not just any kind of soul music, but soul from all over. Yes, in America we have soul music from Detroit and Memphis, but there’s soul from all over this country. Not only that, but around the world they may have different names for it (like afrobeat, salsa or reggae) but it’s all soul music. So on this program we try to play an eclectic mix of things from all over that still has the heart of soul music. Some stuff you might have heard, but at the same time you’ll hear something that is new. On the Universal Soul Express we like to play music from all over, and we hope that you enjoy the ride.
