Central Museum - Also known as Indore Museum, the Central Museum is a highly frequented sightseeing spot in the city. The museum offers a detailed insight on the past of the place as well as the ancient inhabitants as there are relics dating back to 5000 B.C. There are two large galleries, one houses artifacts that belong to the prehistoric era, and the other houses artifacts and carvings that portray Hindu mythology. One of the chief attractions here is the 8 meters tall statue of Lord Ganapati, which is also the world's largest idol of the lord.

Patalpani Waterfalls - If you are a nature-lover the site of the waterfalls is a must-visit. It is a beautiful collection of waterfalls located in the thick of the jungles. The height of waterfalls is between 200 to 300 feet and the sight is simply breathtaking. It is a popular tourist site and perfect for trekking. The distance between the waterfalls’ site and the city is about 36 kms; the good

Gomatgiri - The place is basically ideal for the spiritualists and those who seek a quiet place to relax and rejuvenate. It is a small hillock and a major pilgrimage site. The place is associated with Jainism and there are multiple revered Jain temples. The major attraction here is the 21 feet Gomateshwara statue. The place has a serene environment with spirituality abiding in almost everything.
