These saints were idolized for their immense devotion towards Lord Shiva. Showcasing typical Dravidian style of architecture, there are bronze idols of the saints where devotees offer their prayers. The festival is celebrated in the month of April and May, and is marked by a huge procession carried on the streets.

The Tourist Fair - Organized by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation to boost tourism in the region, this travel fair is held during January when the temperatures are comparatively pleasant.
