Artist Spotlight
atty Patterson is an artist and entrepreneur living in Jackson, Mississippi. As an active community volunteer, Patterson is passionate about cleaning up the environment in which she lives. In her Midtown warehouse studio, Patty designs and builds furniture items from recycled shipping pallets. She was first introduced to pallets in the 1980's when her stepfather sold used pallets to make extra income for their family. Three decades later, Patty started Repurposed Projects, a unique furniture studio that incorporates Patterson’s love of rustic materials with a passion for teaching kids the many benefits of recycling.
