Hi, I am Angelica

Design is a way to express my creativity and a way to connect art with life.

My interest and curiosity on different arts and cultures inspires my works. I consider myself to be a multidiscipline designer. I like to work with abstract and conceptual ideas and would love to try implementing them into practical designs, bringing art into daily life and provoke conversations and self reflection in the process.

I aim to design products that improve people’s quality of life and encourage people to explore. I am always willing to learn new skills and gain more knowledge as I want to improve myself as an artist and as a designer.

Models are made in smaller scale before moving to full size using cardboards. The full size models allow me to look at the furniture’s room presence.

Model Making and Protoype 25

The range is partially upholstered with felt produced from recycled textiles and PET bottles as an attempt to reduce textile wastes. A total of 3 colours are chosen, red, blue and yellow. The geometrical design and the use of primary colours of the occasional range creates a playfulness in the design. The contrasting materials used in the design also adds a playfulness to it.
