All residents (ages 12+) must bring their membership card each time they wish to access the facility.
No child under 12 is permitted in the park/facility without adult supervision.
No animals of any type are permitted in the park.
No glass, smoking, vaping, or alcohol is permitted in the park.
No bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards, etc. are permitted in the park.
Open fires are not permitted. Only charcoal briquettes may be used in the barbeques.
Residents and guests must not use foul language in the park.
Rambunctious/unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
Residents assume full responsibility for their guest' actions Residents must be present at all times while their guests use the facility
Adult residents may bring up to five (5) guests per household Youth residents (aged 12-15) may bring up to two (2) guests per household (with signed parental consent) All guests must be signed in before entering the facility.
For more than five (5) guests, a Gate +8 List must be submitted to Auburn House at least 28 hours prior to your event for approval. These lists are accepted on a first come, first served basis. The ABRA accepts a maximum of 10 Gate +8 lists Mon-Thurs, and 5 Gate +8 Lists Fri-Sun (and all stat/civic holidays).
Park Guest Lists (up to 25 people) are only available with Picnic Shelter bookings.
The ABRA has the right to decline any large group.
The maximum number of guests with a Gate +8 list is 8 (including children and mobile infants) Gate +8 lists are available on AuburnBayRA.ca and at Auburn House.

Open Gym (Non-Netted): Basketball, floor hockey, dodgeball... open gym is an all-ages opportunity for family and youth to use the gym for sports!
Split Gym (Half Netted, Half Non-Netted): Half the gym accommodates non-netted sports and have accommodates pickleball or badminton
Volleyball Drop-in: Challenge your neighbours to a friendly game of volleyball!
Pickleball & Badminton Drop-ins: Already love badminton? Come hit some birdies and then try popular up-and-coming racquet sport, Pickleball
Youth Sports Night: Saturday evenings are now reserved for Youth Sports Night! Youth aged 12 to 17 can come down and enjoy one of the 3 sports that will be rotated through each week

Adult drop-ins are now open for residents aged 16 and up to join, and their guests. Join your fellow community members for the following drop-ins:

The ABRA reserves the right to cancel any programs with insufficient registration. Full refunds will be granted, or you may transfer to another program (space permitting).
Requests to withdraw from a program:
Seven (7) or more days prior tot he first day of the program will be granted a full refund with no penalty.*
Less than seven (7) days prior to the first day of the program will be granted a 50% refund.*
On the program start date to within 48 after the first class will be granted a 25% refund (not applicable to one-day programs - no refunds will be granted within 48 hours before the start date of the program)
Refunds will be issued for medical reasons and will be pro-rated at the time of the withdrawal request A doctor's note must be presented Refunds will not be issued for participants who are unable to attend make up classes
*Refunds are issued by account credit Credits are valid for one year from the issue date Alternative refunds (direct deposit) are subject to a $15 Administration Fee

CANSail Learn to Sail programs provide a safe, fun, and active learning environment suited for youth development. This CANSail 1 "Introduction to Sailing" camp will teach young sailors fundamental sailing skills, including basic sheeting, steering, and boat handling on all points of sail. By the end of this week, young sailors will have developed a solid set of competencies and skills.

Safety Rangers is a FREE educational program for Auburn Bay residents offered by the ABRA from, designed to empower children with the knowledge and skills needed to keep themselves safe wherever they are At the ABRA, We believe that teaching safety from an early age sets the foundation for a lifetime of responsible decision-making and well-being. Safety Ranger students explore a variety of different topics through digital workbooks designated for their specific age groups. With completion of workbooks, Safety Rangers are able to attend events and a final graduation put on by their Chief Safety Ranger
Please note that the Safety Rangers program is a digital program and will require participants to have access to a tablet or computer. Some Activities will also require assistance from a grown up. If you’re unable to commit to helping your child commit to the program, please do not register as spaces in the program are limited
Our units for Safety Rangers this year will consist of 3 units over the course of 3 months. The first unit will begin in June, followed by the second unit in July, and the third and final unit in August. Safety Rangers will have 3 months in total to complete and submit their work for each month.

The Auburn Bay Residents Association (ABRA) is a not-for profit company that is professionally managed and operated. In addition to recreation and event programming, we are responsible for many community features, including: entry ways, boulevards, Auburn House facilities, and the lake and park amenities. Membership is mandatory for all residents, and fees are collected annually.
