Charles Loake Appointed to Managing Director of Auc�oneer’s Business Assets & Property Teams
Na�onal auc�on house John Pye & Sons Ltd has reconfigured its professional services arm, which oversees the valua�on and sale of businesses, assets, and property, by appoin�ng Charles Loake as Managing Director of the Business Assets and Property Divisions
The departments undertake valua�on and disposal advice for property, machinery and business assets across all asset classes and sectors, on behalf of UK banks, finance companies, insolvency prac��oners and government bodies.
Formerly an Associate Director, Loake will be responsible for overseeing na�onwide case instruc�ons, heading up a team of 50 staffacross the auc�oneer’s UK footprint of over 2millionsquare feetof indoor sales space, across 21 sites.
A Fellow of NAVA Propertymark (Na�onal Associa�on of Valuers and Auc�oneers), a member of NAEA Propertymark, the UK’s leading membership body for property agents and a Director of the Turnaround Management Associa�on UK (TMA), Charles has been with John Pye for 27 years and is a stalwart of the industry.
On his appointment Charles said: “I’m very proud to have worked with John Pye for over 27 years, which has seen both the development of my own career and experience in this market. It’s been an incredible journey to be part of the firm’s growth over that �me.
