Landwood Group has had a record-breaking year in its Property Auctions arm of the business, with online sales seeing a 43% jump in lots sold and an 11% boost in total value. This comes off the back of a 40% increase in sales in 2023.
Some standout moments from 2024 include:
• The £2.65m sale of Hadley Grange in Buckinghamshire following a Proceeds of Crime order linked to a £70m Royal Mail fraud.
• A converted period property in Ealing smashing its reserve by £425,000 after receiving 218 bids.
• The quirky sale of a former toilet block in Formby, which went for £85,000—nearly triple its £30,000 guide price.
A record-breaking 2024 for Landwood Property Auctions
It was a bumper year for Landwood Property Auctions with their online auctions seeing a 43 per cent increase in lots sold and an 11 per cent bump in the value of the sales.
Landwood Property Auctions, in their second year after a management buyout, enjoyed the success despite an uncertain
year for the property market and after achieving a 40 per cent increase in 2023.
