BIOGRAPHIES ACTORS Hunter Broyles (Sam/Ensemble – SIL) is excited to join Kentucky Shakespeare for their main stage season. He was previously seen in the Globe Players productions the past 2 seasons as Sir Andrew Aguecheek (Twelfth Night) and Paris (Romeo and Juliet) and will be in this year’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He is a recent graduate of YPAS as a theatre major. He has performed with Actors Theatre, StageOne, Derby Dinner Playhouse, CenterStage, and Acting Against Cancer. He attended Governor’s School for the Arts for Musical Theatre last summer. In the fall, he will attend Northern Kentucky University to pursue his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre with minors in dance and psychological science. He couldn’t think of a better way to spend his last summer before college. For Barb. Zachary Burrell (Lord Wessex/Frees – SIL; Henry V – H5) has previously appeared on the Kentucky Shakespeare stage as Prince Hal in Henry IV Parts I & II, as well as Valentine in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Laertes in Hamlet, and the Clown in The Winter’s Tale, among many others. He has also performed with StageOne Family Theatre, Derby Dinner Playhouse, Theatre [502], and Pandora Productions. He attended Adams State University in Colorado.

Ashley Nicole Cabrera (Mistress Quickly/Kate/Courtier – SIL) is ecstatic to join Kentucky Shakespeare for her first summer season! She recently graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she received her B.A. in Theatre, concentrating in performance. During her time at JMU, she starred in The Moors (Moorhen) and Scab (Angel/ Grad Student). Ashley moved to Louisville in 2020 to work as an Artist Educator with KY Shakes. She is excited to return to Kentucky Shakespeare next year as an Artist Educator as well. J. Barrett Cooper (Edmund Tilney/Sir Robert De Lesseps – SIL; Falstaff/Williams/ Duke of Burgundy – H5; fight captain – both) returns for his fourth season as an actor with KSF. For KSF: As You Like It, Henry IV Parts 1 & 2, Richard II, Comedy of Errors, Julius Caesar, Othello, King Lear, Much Ado. Regional Acting: Pioneer Playhouse (Salt Lake City), Wayside Theatre, Arkansas Rep, Alabama Shakespeare, Bunbury, Savage Rose, CenterStage and StageOne Family Theatre. As Fight Director: KSF, Kentucky Opera, University of Louisville, University of Evansville, Savage Rose, Walden Theatre, and Actors Theatre’s Professional Training Company. In the past year: Lilas Pastia & Fight Director in Carmen (Kentucky Opera), White in The Sunset Limited (Bunbury), Fight Director for The Three Musketeers
