STEP 1: Checklist In order to achieve a Halloween nickface, you need to record some spooky actions of yourself. First, please make sure that you have fulfilled the following checklist required for nice videos. 1. Solid background - Why are solid backgrounds needed? This helps the keying technology to distinguish the background from the foreground. The optimal choices, however, are blue and green for background screens since those look best when placed against skin tones. Ensure that no other instances of that color exist in the shot, as it is also extracted along with the background screen color. - Background screen is recommended being muslin fiber with dimensions 78,74 in x 47,24 in, a material you can get at a fabric store.

2. Video recording devices: - You will need a webcam, a digital camera, a video camera, or any type of cell phone to record your video. - However, high-definition cameras are recommended.

3. Main actor/actress: - It could you or anyone you may ask to put on the mask, sit before the camera and ready for creepy acting. - Disguise yourself or the actor/actress as favorite Halloween characters. Put on your costumes and do not forget wearing some makeup, as bloody as possible. We believe you’re good at it.

STEP 2: Start recording 1. Act every single action so cool in front of the camera. You can refer to actions suggested below: o

2. And start recording your actions with solid screens. There are a few requirements for this step and you may want to notice. 

Each action should be a separate video. If you decide to make all actions in 1 video file, please make sure that it is not exceed the 50Mbs limitation.



Video for the Idle action needs to be longer than 30 seconds.



Following format is recommended: o Screen Resolution: 640 x 480 o Frame per second (fps): 15 or better o File Format: any common video file formats. o Length: 0.5 -2 minutes according to action length
