Maybe the world needs less people who want the best. And more people actually building it.

It’s not a turntable. It’s the most advanced musical code-breaking machine on the planet.
CHALLENGER Mk3
Once upon a time in a small town in Southern Germany, near where the motorcar was invented, there lived an engineer who wanted to own the perfect turntable. Since he couldn't find it anywhere on the planet - and believe us, he traveled far and wide - he decided against building himself a spaceship and for building the machine he was looking for all by himself, as this seemed to be the most sensible engineering option. And when he succeeded, and heard more musical detail than anyone, ever, elsewhere, he decided to make a business of this, as he correctly figured there might be some other enthusiasts who would value absolute precision, total commitment to detail and the mastering of the fine arts of metal work, too. Twenty years later, that's still what our founder and his flock do. Building the perfect turntable, in each price class. By hand. Right in the heartland of German precision (think Porsche or Mercedes, who’re assembling their spin-friendly marvels close to our GÜppingen premises). 12 turntable systems that are as close to perfection as it gets. 16 tone arms, for each and every possible demand. And 6 pickups to make your heart sing. Test for yourself what Gunther and his crew have accomplished. And what we mean when we say TEUTONIC ENGINEERING. With tongue in cheek. And a minty record spinning.
One turntable to rule them all: You sure have heard of our famed INVICTUS. Best in the world, says THE ABSOLUTE SOUND. A piece of rocket science that makes audiophile hearts beat faster.
“Simply put, this ultra-expensive bit of Teutonic engineering is the best record player that I have heard in my home. And the difference between it and other rivals isn’t trivial or a matter of nuance.” Jonathan Valin, Absolute Sound
479 precision moving parts. 6 motors. Up to 4 tonearms. How else would you expect to raise a composer from the dead?
INVICTUS
Being reasonable can be serious fun, too.

TIDORFOLONÂŽ bearing Our legendary bearings combine the virtually uncombinable: exact fit, extremely low noise, very low friction and long term stability. The platter bearing axle is manufactured from special hardened and precisely grinded steel. The bearing housing uses perfectly matched sinter bronze inserts which are self-lubricating. Ensuring a perfectly smooth run and tight fit of the axle.
Silencer Technology Invented by us in the year 2000, our revolutionary Silencer Platter has been continously improved, using state-of-the-art CAD technologies. Today, our Silencers give you the best possible performance, absorbing both needlecaused internal vibrations and loudspeakercaused resonances. While greatly improving the optical performance of the system when not in use, too.
Manufacture We think it ourselves. We construct it ourselves. We build and wrap and send it to you ourselves. All parts of our turntables are designed by us. 90% are built inhouse, 10% by the hands of small and trusted swabian companies. Each and every product is painstakingly assembled, by hand, by one of our 22 very focussed people. Who fork out a mere 1.200 pieces a year - to make 1.200 audiophiles perfectly happy.
