Evans Best Place to Live in America

In 2020, Evans was named the “Best Place to Live in America” by Money Magazine, and has been listed as one of the top 30 fastest growing counties in the country.

Columbia County has long been one of the most desirable places in the state to live and work. Economic stability and managed growth make the area attractive to both small and large businesses.

Harlem and Grovetown are two incorporated cities located in the southwestern portion of the county. The history of these two cities have made significant contributions to making the county known throughout the state and the country.
